The chicken was good but could have been better if accompanied with a side dish such as some mashed potatoes.

Soy Glazed Short RibsLike the chicken dish, I thought this could have been complemented well with a side of mashed potatoes. Aside from that, the Ribs was quite tasty.

Grilled “Market” BurgerWow...that's what I first thought when this arrived.
Burger overall was okay...not the best burger I've had, but I appreciated the addition of the onion rings.

Overall, I had a great meal at Market by Jean-Georges. Be sure to try their 3-course meal during lunch time. Don't forget to call in advance to ensure that you'll be able to secure a seat!

Oh, I'm jealous. I haven't been able to get a reservation as of yet. But I'm planning to go. What was your take on the service?
Good question Sherman.
The hostess was very nice and broke down the seating options upon my entrance. There's the sort of Cafe area, bar area, and finally the restaurant area. I believe there's also a section below.
I decided to sit at the Bar area, and I found the service to be just okay. It could have been better. But then again, I guess we shouldn't really expect too much when sitting at the bar area?

This place was excellent. Service was good (yes, a few of the staff seemed to be new); however we were taken care of very well and the food was great.
