Romana's Classic Pizza:Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Green Pepper.
Romana's is a family owned restaurant in Burnaby. My co-worker and I decided to order some pizza for delivery. We ordered the large Classic which has Pepperoni, Mushrooms and Green Pepper.
A side note: we noted a slight (or not so slight) price increase. The original price of the Large Classic pizza was $16. The new price....$20....before tax and delivery charge.
Moving on, the pizza was pretty good I must say. I really liked the cheese. Think Pizza Hut pan pizza, without the excess grease.
Our only slight complaint was that the crust was a little bit too soggy. This was due to the fact that there was a tin foil placed on the cardboard box and directly under the pizza. This resulted in excess moisture. I'm guessing this was done to retain the heat. A double edged sword?
If you're looking for pizza along the lines of Pizza Hut without the excess grease, Romana's is your place.
