Hamilton Street Grill

Coke with a Lemon Wedge.
Refreshing!

Bread Slices and Butter.

French Onion Soup.
Standard French Onion Soup...nothing special.

New York Steak.
I've never been a fan of the NY strip cut..but thought I'd give it a try.
I thought it was just "okay"...for a steak house, I expected better.

An "inside" look!
Steak was cooked to my requested medium rare..so no complains here.

Warm Gingerbread Pudding with Ginger and Pumpkin Ice Cream.
The highlight of my meal.
If you ever come here, I recommend trying this dessert.

Overall, my experience was just okay. The highlight was definitely the dessert.

For steaks, I'd recommend going elsewhere...but if you're a dessert person, try this place out for their Gingerbread Pudding with Ginger and Pumpkin Ice Cream.

Cool post again
Anyways quick question!

Do you recommend the Ribeye steak or the Prime Rib at the Keg?
Does the Prime Rib come with those fried oninons?

Thanks!

Thanks AG!

Re The Keg...I normally do order both. However, I tend to prefer the Ribeye steak, which is now called the Ribsteak. I don't believe the Prime Rib comes with the fried onions. It's actually the Ribsteak that comes with the fried onions (and some sauteed mushrooms!).

Enjoy!

We've been to the HST Grill before and it's alright. It's in tough competition with the restaurants nearby. Have you gone to the Yaletown Keg yet?

Hi Sherman, yes I have been to the new Keg in Yaletown. Pretty good experience...just had to wait a very long time for a table.
