An inside look!
So it seems like Costco has replaced their Ribs with a new item...a 1/2 pound Angus beef cheeseburger combo that comes with fries and a pop for $5.99.

Moving on, I was very anxious to try this new item out.
As can be seen from the pics above, you get to assemble your own burger. It comes with a mayo packet as well.
The burger itself...well, I'd have to say it was not amazing. The beef patty itself was somewhat dry and tasteless. The good thing is that they don't use processed cheese!
To be fair though, for $5.99, I'd have to say that's a very good deal considering that you're getting a burger that does not use processed cheese, and that includes a pop and fries.
I will probably give this another shot in the near future.

Oh? Something new at Costco? Hmmm, you're right, the patty don't look too moist. Maybe I should try for myself. Thanks!
I was waiting for you to jump in first. I'll go today and compare.
Let me know how it goes Sherman!
Please let me know how it goes as well H. Peter. Thanks.
For some reason, the patty looks... bad, as if it was cooked to a crisp. Heck, they might have as well fried the patty and nobody would have noticed!
Not sure if I will be tempted to get one, though. Costco is not that easily accessible to me, except the one in Downtown Vancouver. But, at $6, I would rather go somewhere else (Save-on-Meats?) or just have the hot dog. And, out of curiosity, do they still have chicken?
Hi KimHo, I'm assuming you're referring to the Chicken Bake?
As far as I know, they replaced the Chicken Bake with the Ribs and now they have replaced the Ribs with the Angus Cheeseburger. Think we have a feature that changes annually? Or do you think the Chicken Bake and Ribs just didn't sell well?
Meh. Had one today. I was underwhelmed. Grilled offsite then reheated at Costco...I think.
For sure it sells better than the ribs. Almost every table had one if not more.
Thanks for the update H. Peter.
Good observation on the fact that almost everyone ordered it. I sort of noticed the same thing when I had mine.
